Unconfuse is free. Be decent to the people you meet here. We can’t promise a match, and we can’t promise it works out. If someone treats another person badly, we’ll close their account.

We introduce mentees to mentors. We ask you both some honest questions, look for a good fit, and hand you a place to talk. That’s it. Mentors are volunteers, not our staff, and we don’t control what they say.

You don’t pay to be matched, and mentors don’t get paid. If that ever changes, we’ll tell you clearly before it affects you — never as a surprise charge.

• You need to be 16 or older to sign up.
• Answer honestly. The whole thing falls apart if people describe someone they aren’t.
• One account per person. Don’t sign up as someone else.
• Keep your sign-in to yourself.

Simple stuff. While you’re here, don’t:

• Harass, threaten, or say hateful things to anyone you meet through us.
• Use Unconfuse to sell things, recruit, or pitch a service to your match.
• Share what your match tells you in private, or post their details anywhere.
• Try to break the site, scrape it, or get at other people’s data.

• We can’t promise you a match. Sometimes there isn’t a good one yet.
• We can’t promise a match will click, last, or lead anywhere.
• Advice from a mentor is one person’s view. It isn’t legal, medical, or financial advice, and it isn’t ours.
• The site may be down sometimes. We’re small and still building.

You can leave whenever you want — email us and we’ll close your account and delete your data. We can also close an account if someone is abusive, dishonest about who they are, or using Unconfuse for something it isn’t for. When it’s a close call, we’ll ask first.

What you write here belongs to you. We only use it to run the service — matching you, showing your match your blind profile, and delivering your messages.

If we change these rules, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If it’s a big change, we’ll email you.
